Procurement has steadily increased its involvement in all areas of Marketing over the last ten years. The majority of clients now employ a procurement professional and or a team. There has been a mixed reaction to their involvement. 

 

It is usually the moment that every agency head dreads. After a spellbinding pitch, in response to a demanding brief, client and agency are in sync. The chemistry, so difficult to get right, is good. The fees seem reasonable to both sides and a motivated team is champing at the bit to unveil a campaign that could shift the needle for client and agency.  Then enter stage left, the procurement person.

As a result, Upfront have designed a seminar aimed at giving you insight into what procurement is looking for and how it interprets your actions.  It will give you tips on how to answer RFI’s, RFQ’s, ITT’s to ensure success and will look at how to engage successfully with procurement.

Our early evening seminar ‘How to make your agency more attractive to Procurement’ is presented by Tina Fegent. Tina works regularly with agencies, marketing departments and procurement teams to make sure that fair commercial relationships are in place for all three parties. She is a gamekeeper turned poacher with a unique skill set, having set up and led the Procurement Marketing teams at O2, GSK and Orange and then worked agency side at Grey Advertising and Lowe London. She now also runs her own Procurement Consultancy Tina Fegent Ltd.
